On January 17, 2024, Tanzania-China Friendship Promotion Association (TCFPA) released a statement on its official website, saying that Taiwan is an inalienable part of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), and that it firmly supports the one-China principle and the Chinese people’s just cause of trying to achieve national reunification. The statement further says that the TCFPA strongly opposes the Taiwan Independence separatists’ activities, and looks forward to maintaining friendships between the Tanzanian and Chinese peoples based on non-interference in any countries’ domestic affairs.
